Biography
Mr. Lafferty is a member of the Firm's Board of Directors and has been a member of the Firm since his admission to the Bar in 1979.

Mr. Lafferty practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation and the general civil practice of law. The areas of law involved in Mr. Lafferty's practice have included personal injury, commercial litigation, representation of municipalities and other governmental entities, employment law, insurance and general commercial litigation. Since his admission to the Bar, Mr. Lafferty has litigated matters throughout the State of New Jersey, in both the Superior Court and Federal Courts, and has litigated matters in other jurisdictions as well. Since 1996, Mr. Lafferty has been recognized by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney.

During his tenure in the legal profession, Mr. Lafferty has been involved in the improvement of the legal system and the advancement of client/litigant rights including being a member of the Board of Governors of the American Trial Lawyers Association - New Jersey (ATLA-NJ); a Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association; Past President of the Atlantic County Bar Association; Member of the Supreme Court District Ethics Committee; and a Member of the American Inns of Court. Recently, Mr. Lafferty has served for an extended period, two years of which were as Chair, of the Legislative Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Mr. Lafferty has also served as a lecturer for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education and also the American Trial Lawyers Association - NJ.

Mr. Lafferty has been included in the New Jersey Super Lawyers list, published by Law & Politics Magazine, for the years 2006 through 2010, inclusive.
