Biography
Rebecca C. Lafferty joined the firm in August of 2009. Ms. Lafferty attended The College of New Jersey where she graduated in 2004 with a degree in Law and Justice and minors in Biology and Psychology. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of Law-Wilmington in 2007 where she graduated with Pro Bono Distinction.
While at Widener Law, Ms. Lafferty worked for the Environmental and Natural Resources Clinic representing special interest groups in environmental matters. Ms. Lafferty also served internships with the Honorable William E. Nugent, J.S.C. and the Honorable Carol E. Higbee, P.J.C.V., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, as well as with the New Jersey Attorney General's Office in the Environmental Enforcement Section.
Upon completion of her education, Ms. Lafferty served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Michael R. Connor, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey. Thereafter, she practiced law with a firm in Norristown and Philadelphia, PA, focusing on primarily civil litigation.
Ms. Lafferty is admitted to practice in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is a member of the New Jersey, Atlantic County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. She is also a member of the Vincent S. Hanneman Inn of Court and a past member of the Delaware Valley Environmental Inn of Court. Ms. Lafferty also serves on the Board of Directors for the Atlantic Riding Center for Health and also sits on the Atlantic County Child Placement Review Board.
